dry erase notepad

I’m a big list maker (get that from my mom). It’s the only way I can remember what I need to do. I write a new list everyday, which is a lot of paper! So I was thinking…instead of killing so many trees why don’t I just make a reusable notepad. I had an extra 6”x6” tile laying around so I decided that it would make a great dry erase notepad!

All you need is:
-a glossy tile (any size that will fit your list making needs)
-Porcelain paint (the color I used was copper, it has a nice metallic finish)
-fine tip brush
-small adhesive back felt pads

All you have to do is:
-Paint the tile to your liking. At the top you can paint “notes to myself”, “things to do today”, “today I will…”, “to do”, etc.

-Then bake it in the oven for 35 min at 300.

Now your painted tile is dishwasher safe!

To complete this little project all you have to do now is stick the felt pads on each corner and enjoy your new reusable notepad!

I’ve already started to put mine to good use! It takes list making to a whole new fun level. And the dry erase markers with an eraser on the lid are the best!

The best part about this craft is that I already had everything I needed to make it! Love it when that happens!

Also, I did end up getting a John Derian binder from Target! Isn’t it just too cute! I like to look at it.

It’s pretty on the inside too!

And everyone should go check out my bff’s new Etsy shop, Presh! Natalie has a few different styles of really cute skirts and dresses to choose from. She will custom make one for you to fit your size! So lovely!

  9. What a great idea! I think I might make one with magnets on the back so that it's like a note pad on the fridge!
