Here are some pics of our town home in Auburn that we only lived in for 6 months! Since we didn't live here very long there were a lot of home projects I wasn't able to finish. I will pick up where I left off in our new home!

Here is a quick and easy DIY to start off the new year!
A calendar display board!
I found this 12"x9" wood board with a decorative edge at Wal-Mart for $5. I painted and glazed it, and then painted a rectangle at the top using chalkboard paint. After it dried, I added a nail below the chalkboard to hang the calendar from.

I used a linen table cloth, placemats, and napkins to create a soft neutral setting. I also love how the gold decor mixed with the silver accents from the glasses and silverware creates a nice "silver and gold" theme.

I have so much fun changing up my Christmas table decor for different types of gatherings. On Monday I shared my table setting for a Christmas dessert party, and today I will show you how I decorated for a small dinner party.
This rustic setting is perfect for a casual and comfortable Christmas dinner.
The centerpiece is an arrangement of leyland cypress branches in an old watering can.

I came across a cute sock glove tutorial on Ruffles and Stuff and thought it would be a fun Christmas project. It's also a great way to recycle some old argyle socks that are a little worn in the heel.
I pretty much followed her instructions except I only used one pair of knee high socks instead of piecing together several smaller socks.
These would be perfect stocking stuffers!
