Pregnancy Update

Today is the day! We go to the hospital this evening to be induced! What a fast 9 months!
Since I haven't done a blog post here since I announced my pregnancy, I thought I would share what I have been blogging about on our family blog.

This summer we had a gender reveal party to announce that we are having a baby girl! The theme was "what will it bee?" and I made scratch off cards for everyone to reveal!
Click HERE and HERE for more pictures!

I also announced our baby girls name!

In October my sweet friends threw me the most beautiful baby shower! It was decorated with a Bless This Nest theme, and I loved all the little details!
Check out more pictures from this special day HERE!

About a month ago we had maternity pictures taken by Jamie with Count it Joy Photography in Huntsville, AL. She is so talented and did an amazing job! We loved every single picture!
I shared a few more of our favorite pictures HERE!

One of my most recent posts was sharing pictures of Ivy's completed nursery! Now it just needs a baby!
To view more pictures and details of Ivy's nursery check out the nursery post on my family blog!

I also documented my growing bump from week 12 to week 39!

Guess What!

I announced our exciting news to the world earlier this week so I just had to share with you guys!

We are expecting our first baby on December 21, 2013!

I have another Melissa Stapleton Interiors design reveal to share today!

The goal for this living area was to turn a room that was never used into a useable and comfortable space perfect for entertaining or just relaxing on the weekends.  It was also important to the client to incorporate sentimental pieces like the clock, family photos, globe, and painting from Italy into the design.

Instead of buying new tables, I suggested the client paint the side tables and sofa table and add pretty new knobs.

You can find vintage books just like this at boutiques, but before you spend a lot for this look buy books from the thrift store and just rip the covers off.

Instead of paying a ton of $$$ on botanical prints I downloaded these prints from Vintage Printable and had them printed at Office Depot. I found the dark gray mats for $3 and the frames for $4 (half off) at Hobby Lobby.  I then painted and glazed the frames to lighten them up and give them character.

The vintage sconces I found at an antique store look perfect on either side of the client's mirror.

The lamps and table decor are from T.J. Maxx, and the adorable sunburst mirror is from Target.
This light fixture is only $180 at Lowes!
