AU vs. UA

It's that time again! The infamous Iron Bowl! Auburn vs. Alabama

I have been wanting to make a wreath showing my team spirit, but since I married an Alabama fan I had to make it fair. So I made a house divided wreath with both teams. (I'm such a good wife!)

Instead of using yarn, I cut 1 inch strips of white knit fabric and pulled it tight until it looked like string. I used felt for the school logos and flowers.

I think the Auburn side looks the best, but I'm a little biased!

2nd anniversary

Two years ago today I married my sweet husband, and it has been a great two years of marriage!
Being married to Jake is so easy, wonderful, and fun!  I know it will only continue to get better as the years go by!

For the past two years I have wanted to make a book of all the wedding cards we received, so I thought our anniversary would be the perfect time to finally make it!  It was great to reminisce and look through all the cards of well wishes.

Since there were so many cards I had to make two books!  For the front and back covers, I used cardboard that I covered with paper that I embellished.  I punched holes in all the cards and used binder rings to hold everything together.

It's a gift for us both to enjoy every year on our anniversary.

Thanksgiving centerpiece inspiration

If you are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner this year, don't forget a gorgeous centerpiece!

Don't worry, it doesn't have to be complicated or elaborate to look good.
Just get a fallish bouquet of flowers, and instead of using a regular vase, use a carved out pumpkin! Real or fake!

These examples would all be stunning focal points for your Thanksgiving feast!

La Reunion

It's time to start Christmas shopping! So if you live in the Birmingham area I suggest you go to La Reunion in Old Town Helena. Not only can you get a delicious coffee drink and treat, but you can also buy some unique handmade gifts.

I recently started selling some of my fabric accessories here! So exciting!

I have my own table!

Other exciting news! Auburn's Interior Design program was just ranked #1 in the country!  So proud to come from such an awesome school and program!
