floating books

Ever since I discovered the concealed bookshelf I have been obsessed with them! So once I saw this picture of a framed concealed bookshelf I was determined to try this one day.

This was my inspiration photo...



And this is my interpretation...



I got the bookshelf from Bed Bath and Beyond and the old frame I got from a thrift store and painted it metallic bronze.



I have it hanging over my desk and it is definitely my favorite decorative detail in my bedroom! I wish the pictures did it justice.
