not just for cake

Cake plates aren’t just for cake anymore! So many people have a ton of beautiful cake plates that stay in boxes until they need to serve the occasional cake. Why not display them year round.

Here are a few ideas…


Place candles in varying sizes on one cake plate or stack a smaller stand on top to add some extra height.


Put one in the guest bathroom with hand towels and washcloths neatly folded and stacked on top.


Make unique floral arrangements and place on a few cake plates for a fresh centerpiece.


Have one in the foyer to use as a catch-all.


Set your potted plant on one to add more interest to a corner.
